AsAC PCU members of PIN, ad advised that there would be no prosecution in thelcase. 7/17/2024 -SA attended a meeting with USA\ IAUSA\ AUSA\ Section Chief Devin Kowalski, SSA\ other FBI and DOJ employees. USA 7/30/2024 - SAB called AUSAR end requested an update on the written declination advised he would send a message up his chain and get back. 8/1/2024 - STE \visct TT = «Tia email that the case was no longer actively being investigated and that there had been prior FOIA requests. JN "sponded that she would leave a note in the case should the requester come back. 8/19/2024 - SSA emailed AUSARM and Ausa asking whether additional action from PIN was needed to obtain a declination. AUSA advised he anticipated having guidance from PIN between 9/3 and 9/13. 9/26/2024 - SAPemailed AUSARE requesting an update. AUSAREM advised that his office had received a response from PIN which prompted follow-on discussions and there was not yet an official position for next steps in the case. 10/8/2024 - ASACEEEB advised that USAR stated he was reconsidering prosecution. 10/8/2024 — SAB c cic: = the USAO was considering prosecution and that in the event any FOIA requests were received, the case agent should be contacted. 10/25/2024 - AUSARE called SABend stated that a PIN attorney would like to review the FD- 302s from the investigation. On the same date, AUSAM emailed SAB requesting copies of the 302s be provided to his office.
