## Checks performed

## Source-package notes

The original ZIPs contain macOS `__MACOSX` AppleDouble metadata records. Some are named like `._document.pdf`, but they are metadata sidecars rather than PDF documents. They are included in the ZIP CRC tests and preserved in the untouched original packages, but correctly excluded from the 58-document PDF count.

The 49 non-fatal `qpdf` results contain only linearization ordering and linearization hint-table notices. Those are source-PDF optimization metadata inconsistencies, not truncation or failed document streams. Every affected PDF remains readable in Poppler, and no PDF produced a structural failure.
